Child Care Financial Assistance Information
Child Care Financial Assistance is a process by which the Child Care Circuit contracts with the state to make child care accessible to authorized participants of the Department of Transitional Assistance and income eligible parents from the statewide waiting list.
You are eligible to participate in the Child Care Financial Assistance Program if all of the following are met:
- You are currently licensed or identified as a license exempt program by the Department of Early Education and Care
- You are participating in the state Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) at a Level 1 or higher
- You (or a current employee) are not the subject of a substantiated report of abuse/neglect or an EEC licensing litigation
- You understand and agree to all of the conditions in the Child Care Financial Assistance Agreement. This is the contractual arrangement between a provider and Child Care Circuit to follow EEC provider policies for subsidized care
