The Child Care Circuit has been offering early childhood content-based college courses in Spanish since 1989. These courses offer the opportunity for early childhood professionals to satisfy EEC requirements while obtaining college credits toward their degree. The Child Care Circuit is one of the only agencies in the state that offers this type of professional development opportunity to Latino professionals.

These college courses are offered through The Urban College of Boston, accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

The Training and Workforce Development department offers a comprehensive training program that is designed to meet the needs of early childhood professionals serving infants through school-age children in both center-based and family child care homes throughout eastern Massachusetts.

Trainings are organized around prototypes of care including infant-toddler, preschool, school-age, special needs, program administration, and parenting issues to assist in the understanding and development of quality programs for children and families.
